About
the Studio
David Egan Photography is in downtown Baltimore in the historic neighborhood
of Mount Vernon. The studio is in a large 1879 stone building that
was
originally a parish house for one of Baltimore's original churches.
It's magnificant!
Shooting Area
The shooting area in my studio is huge:
1,600 square feet with a 15 foot high ceiling! There is a lot of
room for shooting! Virtually everything can be photographed with
room to spare.
Prep Space
There
is ample room in the studio for 'prep space', where you (or David,
if you ship) can lay out your work and make it ready for shooting.
There
is also more room for you to move around and relax while we're shooting.
Load-in
Load-in is from the street, down a 100-foot brick walkway. It's a
good idea to bring a dolly or hand truck to help you move your work.
Model Shoots
The studio is model-friendly. For shoots involving models, there
is a changing area, make-up area, and a
steam iron available for your use.
Getting There
The studio is right off of I-83, with easy access from
I-95 and I-695. (It's five minutes from the Baltimore Convention
Center.) I have a never-fail map and directions available via mail,
fax, or e-mail. Even the navigationally-challenged have success with
my map and directions!
Good Eating
There are lots of great places to go for lunch or supper!
Ask for our list of recommendations when you arrive. All of Baltimore
is right at hand, so anything that you may need can be found.
